You will have access to your voice mail from both on and off campus.

Secure your office space

And obtain keys/keypad code, office supplies, grade book, and the location of your faculty mailbox.

Familiarize yourself with your classroom

Learn how to use its computer/AV equipment.

Obtain a photo ID card

For safety and security purposes, as well as for use in the library and special college events, all faculty members are required to obtain a photo ID. During peak times (one week before classes begin and the first week of classes), ID cards may be obtained in Room L20B. During the rest of the semester, ID cards may be obtained in the library. A driver's license may be required to verify identity before a staff ID is issued. Staff cards are valid until the end of a person's employment.

Obtain a parking permit

All faculty and staff must register their vehicles in the Office of Business Affairs and Human Resources, where parking decals are available 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any vehicle not displaying a current decal may be parked only in the student and/or visitor lots.

Obtain a copy of the Adjunct Faculty Handbook and College Catalog

The Adjunct Faculty Handbook is available online. It is also available on the college's computer network at [O:\Share\KCC\Adjunct Faculty Handbook]. See your division chair/program director if you prefer a printed copy. The college catalog is available online. Printed copies may be obtained in Student Services.
