International Baccalaureate (IB)

International Baccalaureate (IB), is an academically challenging and balanced program of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being of students. The program has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities and prepares students for effective participation in a rapidly evolving and increasing global society.

Students who have completed assessment in the subject areas below, have met the minimum scores identified, and have the scores included within their official high school transcripts, have the opportunity to earn college-level credit. KCC must have official high school transcripts on file before credit can be evaluated and awarded. KCC accepts the following exams for credit:
