Financial Aid Handbook
The Financial Aid Handbook contains much of the information you will need to understand financial aid at KCC. It will answer many questions before you even know you have them. Please take a moment and read this important document before continuing with the financial aid process.
Special circumstances
Are you a student with special circumstances related to the financial aid process? Make an appointment with a financial aid staff member by calling 815-802-8550.
Important Announcements
Are you planning on taking courses during summer 2013? If so, contact the Office of Financial Aid at 815-802-8550 or finaid@kcc.edu and they will calculate how much aid is available for you to use for the summer term. Remember, you must contact the Office of Financial Aid or you will not have funds available for the summer.
A new policy will take effect for the 2012-13 academic year. Fall 2012 semester Pell disbursements will not be available until Oct. 24, 2012. Spring 2013 semester Pell disbursements will not be available until March 13, 2013. It is important that you plan accordingly because no exceptions will be made.
