If you are a faculty member, you may request orientation sessions and/or library instruction for your classes.
At the orientation session, library staff will provide students with an overview of library resources and services. The online catalog and other resources will be demonstrated, and topics such as internet research vs. article databases will be discussed.
To arrange an orientation, contact Tracy Conner at 815 802-8403 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide one week lead time when scheduling.
The library staff can assist in building topic and discipline-specific assignments with resources from the physical library, electronic subscription services, and/or Internet resources.
Bibliographic instruction can be given in the library, in a classroom or off campus (any location), as long as the Internet is accessible.
Requests should be made as far in advance as possible, preferably no later than one week before the session. For additional information, contact Tracy Conner at 815-802-8403 or email@example.com.
