Dwayne MusickDwayne Musick is an academic advisor with a focus on Business (non-transfer) and Technology. Musick has a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Morehead State University and a Master of Arts degree in student personnel services in higher education from Eastern Kentucky University, both in Kentucky.

Musick joined KCC as a coordinator with the Upward Bound program and as a part-time academic advisor in June of 1999.

In his free time he likes to listen to music, work puzzles and read novels, mainly western and science fiction. He enjoys spending time on the internet and talking to friends.

JoElla Bell has a bachelor’s degree in communication from University of Illinois Springfield, and a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Phoenix. She also holds a surgical technology certificate from Parkland College in Champaign.

Bell has more than 20 years of teaching experience including Walter’s State Community College in Morristown, Tenn., and Valencia College in Orlando, Fla. Throughout her career, she has helped hundreds of students realize their purpose, while discovering a career path that fits their natural abilities. In 2010 and again in 2013 Bell won the coveted Teacher of the Year award at Jefferson Elementary School in Jefferson City, Tenn.

Bell has two sons who are officers in the U.S. Army. She enjoys cheering on any Chicago team, attending Tennessee football games, and spending time with family and friends.
