Professional Licensure Disclosures

Professional Licensure Disclosures

The U.S. Code of Federal Regulations requires disclosures by institutions regarding educational requirements for programs leading to professional licensure or certification regardless of modality. The institution must make information readily available to enrolled and prospective students which shares whether programs leading to professional licensure or certification meet educational requirements.

The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) has worked with other entities to create the Professional Licensure Directory. It provides general contact information and is updated twice annually. It does not house regulations or requirements. Students may find the contact information helpful in their research on state licensure agreement based on their location. These programs have the most enrollments per the data provided by SARA participating institutions.
