High School Equivalency (GED / HiSET)
KCC has a comprehensive range of instruction and services to help students succeed on HSE tests. All HSE classes are offered at no cost to the public. New class sessions begin every eight weeks at several convenient locations. Program orientations are offered regularly.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
The English as a Second Language (ESL) program teaches English to non-native English speakers. Classes help students improve their English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. There are three levels of classes to help students at every stage of learning.
Community Literacy Project
KCC's Adult Literacy Initiative Volunteers Expanded (ALIVE) program provides an opportunity for adults to become competent enough in the area of reading, writing, math and English language skills to function effectively in their everyday lives.
